Non-contagious branchionecrosis of fishes (ecological or autogenic toxicosis, ammoniac toxicosis, and branchionecrosis) is fish disease caused mostly by pollution of water reservoirs related to highly intensive fish-farming and discharge of agricultural (animal) and other sewage into fishing water basins.
