This Measure is composed of 34 articles divided into nine chapters. It regulates the alignment to the provisions set in the 1992 Convention on Biodiversity. Special attention is paid to the protection of biodiversity in the national territory as well to the sharing of wellness provided by biologic patrimony and by traditional knowledge. It also regulates the access to biodiversity for scientific purposes.
