The present Ordinance implements the Saarland Water Law of 30 July 2004. The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to inspection of raw water of water supply systems. Article 1 establishes that the entrepreneur of a water supply facility shall ensure at his own expense that the water intended for drinking water abstraction shall comply with the agreed quality standards.
