The provisions of this Act define the terms, conditions, the competent institutions and the procedures of recognition of producer and other inter-branch organizations of fishery and aquaculture products specified in the Annex. "recognition" means the acknowledgement by the competent national authority that an organization complies with the criteria and conditions laid down for this purpose by the Council Regulation 104/2000/EC on the common organization of the markets of fishery and aquaculture
