This Regional Act lays down rules governing marine fisheries and aquaculture with a view to ensuring the rational exploitation and preservation of marine resources. Article 2 gives the definitions of “marine fisheries”, “aquaculture”, “professional fishing” and “fishing for scientific purposes”. The Region shall adopt a three-year plan outlining the interventions and initiatives to be undertaken in order to attain the above-mentioned objectives. An advisory body is set up in accordance with arti
