The present Regional Act lays down provision with respect to the surveillance of authorized private control organisms. Such organisms, as referred to in article 10 of Council Regulation 2081/92/EEC, are empowered to carry out controls as regards the protection of Protected Geographic Designations (DOP) and Protected Designations of Origin (IGP).
