This Regional Act was enacted to encourage and exploit organic agricultural production and regional products in the Basilicata Region. In order to consider a product an organic product the organic farming techniques indicated in EC Regulation No. 2092/91 of 24 June 1991 and subsequent amendments shall be used. Animal products shall be kept in breeding plants that contemplate the freedom of movement of the animals and the application of the animal welfare standards. Further the Act regulates all
