This Act makes rules governing the prospection, exploration, cultivation, transport and storage of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons and geothermal resources in the Sicilian Region in accordance with Directive 94/22/EC. The above-mentioned activities may be carried out only upon previous issue by the competent authority of a permit or concession.
