This Regional Act sets forth the legislative framework concerning the protection of natural areas in Piemonte and the preservation of biodiversity. It lays down provisions concerning the establishment and management of a regional system of protected areas and provides for their classification. Specific provisions concern the creation and management of protected areas falling within the Natura 2000 system.
