This Act sets forth the legislative framework related to the management of water resources and basins in the Sardegna Region. The objectives pursued are the rational exploitation of water resources as well as the prevention and control of water pollution. The Act defines the competences and functions of the regional authorities and sets up the Regional Basin Authority. Further provisions concern the elaboration of the water basin plan.
