The present Regional Act lays down general rules and directives to protect the environment and safeguard public health against noise pollution. To this end, the territory of each Commune comprised within the Puglia Region shall be subject to a zoning procedure to be carried out in accordance with Decree of the Prime Minister of 1 March 1991.
