The Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, with a view to guaranteeing the internal navigation and enabling the regular change of waters in the environments of natural interest, provides for the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of rivers and channels in accordance with a ten year programme to be implemented annually (art. 1).
