This Regional Act sets up the Regional protected area "Hanbury Botanic Gardens", in compliance with the legal framework laid down in Act No. 394 of 6 December 1991. The boundaries of the protected area are delineated by the planimetry attached to the Act, which includes the marine zone adjacent to the area. The protected area is inserted into the protected areas regional system for the achievement of the following purposes: (a) encouragement and development of research and scientific activities;
