This Regional Act sets forth rules on wildlife parks, zoos and similar establishments, and lays down provisions concerning the keeping of wild animals. These rules aim at guaranteeing animal welfare while and enhancing the role of zoos in biodiversity preservation. The Act regulates the issue of the authorization for the establishments above-mentioned and provides for inspection.
