The Regional Act is divided into four Titles. The Abruzzo Region encourages the use of lakes and adjacent areas for the performance of nautical, sport, tourist and other recreational activities. Such use must be compatible with the ecosystem preservation. Navigation in artificial basins and lakes is permitted only upon authorization previously released by the competent regional entity.
