This Regional Act provides for the granting of aid to farmers as regards, inter alia, the protection of crops against adverse effects of climate and natural disasters as well a capacity building. These provisions are adopted in accordance with the application of articles 87 and 88 of the Treaty of the European Union relating de minimis aid.
