The present Regional Act has been enacted in order to amend and at the same time supplement Regional Act No. 33 of 1997 dealing with wildlife protection and laying down some restrictions to hunting. The amendments and addenda mainly concern the capture plans that may be authorized by the Regional Counsel for Forestry and Agriculture, wildlife restoration centres, functions of the Regional Committee for Wildlife, hunting conditions and hunting calendar, seasons and species that may be harvested,
