Pursuant to the principles laid down at national level by Act No. 447 of 1995, this Regional Act sets out the legislative framework applicable within Valle d’Aosta in matter of prevention of noise pollution and protection against its harmful effects. To this end, the regional territory shall be divided into specific areas according to particular classification criteria. Article 13 provides for the establishment of the Regional Noise Observatory. Article 17 sets out administrative sanctions.
