This Regional Decree regulates Regional Fisheries Inspection (IRP) under the Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries, the aim of which is: to plan, manage and enforce controls on fisheries sector, including aquaculture, in cooperation with other national institutions. It consists of 5 chapters and 1 annex establishing composition, duties and competencies of the aforementioned regional institution and specifying the controls to be carried out on fisheries sector.
