This Regional Decree creates the Regional Council of Forestry. It consists of 7 articles establishing the creation of the aforementioned institution which shall be under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment. This institution shall be the competent authority aimed to manage and regulate the forestry activity within the archipelago of Azores. Composition, duties and competencies are specified in the text.
