This Regional Decree establishes protecting measures to combat forest fires. It consists of 4 chapters establishing protecting measures in order to avoid forest fires to be applied within the territory of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Forest land management, controls to be carried out and sanctions to be paid for illegal activity are specified in the text, divided as follows: General provisions (chap. 1); Fires prevention (chap. 2); Sanctions (chap. 3); Final provisions (chap. 4).
