This Regional Law establishes the following main purposes of state regulation in the sphere of tourism: (a) ensuring the right of citizens to recreation; (b) environmental protection; and (c) promotion of tourism and international contacts (art. 5). Authorized regional executive body shall carry out regular monitoring of the use of regional tourist resources (art. 12).
