This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of ensuring radiation safety of the population with a view of protection of public health against negative impact of ionizing radiation. Regional Administration shall be responsible for institution and functioning of computer-controlled radiation monitoring system for the following purposes: (a) timely identification of radiation level changes; (b) negative impact assessment of ionizing radiation; (c) prevention or reduction of radiation impact
