This Regional Law establishes principles and particulars of organization and promotion of ecological education with a view implementation of state policy in the sphere of environmental protection and ensuring ecological safety. The scope of ecological education shall be as follows: (a) improvement of ecological culture, ecological education level and ecological knowledge of the population; and (b) sustainable development of the region.
