This Regional law regulates relations in the sphere of organization, protection, management and state control of protected areas with a view of conservation of unique and typical ecosystems, wild fauna and wild flora, genetic fund thereof, study of natural processes in the biosphere and ecological education of the population. Functioning of protected areas shall be based upon the following principles: (a) priority of national and regional interests in the sphere of protected areas management; (b
