This Decree, composed of 14 articles, introduces in the Azores Regional legal system the Council Directive 86/280/EEC on limit values and quality objectives for discharges of certain dangerous substances within agricultural activities. In particular, the Decree regulates discharges’ characteristics, soil requirements, protection areas, licensing procedures, information duties, control and monitoring procedures and the required reporting system.
