This Regional Legislative Decree regulates whale watching within Azorian waters. It consists of 33 articles and 5 annexes establishing the requirements for cetacean watching in order to avoid marine mammal disturbing, to control Azorian whale population and to manage tourism excursions. Annexes list involved cetacean species and schedules specifying whale watching requirements.
