It is prohibited to vessels flying the Russian flag to fish in the EEZ and the fishery zone around Jan Mayen, between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the baselines. Nevertheless, they are permitted to fish in the Norwegian economic zone north of 62 ° N for the following fish species: cod (140 000 tons), haddock (35 000 tons), capelin (76 000 tons), Greenland halibut (7 875 tons), Sebastes marinus and Sebastes mentella (4 000 tons as bycatch), saithe (14 250 tons), catfish (4 500 tons), Norwegian
