Regulation No. 111 on Iceland registered vessels’ fishing in the EEZ and the fishery zone around Jan Mayen in 2013.

It is prohibited to vessels flying Icelandic flag to fish in the EEZ and the fishery zone around Jan Mayen, between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the baselines. Nevertheless, it is permitted to Swedish vessels to fish in the Norwegian EEZ south of 62 ° N the following quota: 9 141 tons of cod and 2 742 tons of other bycatch species. This quota may only apply as by-catch when fishing for cod. Ban on fishing with meshed trawls and fishing for silver smelt and blue whiting with small-meshed trawls
