This Regulation provides for the protection of designated areas, endangered species, coral reefs, wetlands, mangrove areas, historic, cultural and artistic sites, the conservation of biodiversity and the protection of biological resources of East Timor. Areas of land constituting islands, beaches, mountains, sanctuaries, reserves and any other areas shall be designated as protected wild areas and shall be managed in accordance with directives issued by the Transitional Administrator in order to
