The regulation establishes the green belt of Tirana and its suburbs in a total area of 4233 ha and lays down the list of areas included in it. Specific borders and sizes per each area are included in the annex. The National Agency of Territory Planning is the responsible state authority for purposes of management and territory planning while the National Urban Construction Inspectorate is charged with monitoring and enforcement functions.
