The regulation lays down the criteria for the marketing of the plant genetic material and the fruit trees saplings with regard to their categories, identity and quality, packaging and labeling rules, as well as the rules of procedure for certification. The applicable list of species and their hybrids is attached to the regulation. The regulation is partially approximated with the Council of Europe Directive 2008/90/EC dated 29 September 2008 and the EU Commission Directive 93/48/EEC dated 23 Jun
