The Purpose of this Regulation is to ensure sustainable management of the hunting of lynx, wolverines, bears, wolves and golden eagles. Management of wildlife should be differentiated by taking into account different interests in different areas and for different predator species. Norway should ensure the breeding of 65 lynx, 39 of wolverines and 15 cubs of bears on a yearly basis.
