In order to prevent the introduction and the diffusion in Italy of Erwinia amylovora bacterium its fight is compulsory. The Regulation establishes the conditions for tests and analyses to be carried out by the entitled organisms in order to detect the presence of the bacterium in the plants potentially subject to such disease.
