This Regulation applies to municipal supervision for the construction of water infrastructures aimed to the protection against flooding, erosion and landslides, and to improve watercourse environment. The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) shall provide assessment of needs in maintenance and repair of these infrastructures.
