This Regulation, consisting of 5 Chapters, establishes the requirements to be met in order to perform activities in the forestry sector. It specifies forest protecting measures and forest and land management criteria. Forest protection, including water basin conservation, contributes to improve the sustainable development of the agricultural sector and the food security of poor rural households.
