The Regulation, which consists of 14 articles, regulates provisions on production and trade of tea. In particular, the Regulation establishes the ‘North Tea Office’ under supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture. In order to raise the production of tea as well as increase the quality of produced tea, tea farmers are entitled to special bank and financial facilities. Any importation of tea needs the authorization of the Agriculture Ministry.
