These Regulations prohibit the sale of groundnuts produced in or imported into South Africa and placed on the domestic market that do not meet quality standards as prescribed by these Regulations. The Regulations also define quality classes of groundnuts and prescribe quality standards for each class, prescribe rules relative to packing and labelling of groundnuts and make provision for sampling, testing and inspection of groundnuts.
