These Regulations prohibit the sale of soya beans produced in or imported into South Africa and placed on the domestic market that do not meet quality standards as prescribed by these Regulations. The Regulations also define quality classes of soya beans and prescribe quality standards for each class, prescribe rules relative to packing and labelling of soya beans and make provision for sampling, testing and inspection of soya beans.
