This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Owners of authorized wells shall install counters on the pumps by the use of modern irrigation systems (art. 1). Owners of authorized wells with expired licences have the time until 31/12/2000 to renew licences (art. 2). The Syrian Desert Zone is not included in this Resolution (art. 3). Renewal of licences shall be carried out in accordance with Resolution No. 195 of 1997 on wells situated in the sources of Alkhabour river (art. 4).
