This Resolution, composed of two articles and one Annex, ratifies the Protocol on Community Fisheries for the Development of Southern Africa, signed in Blantyre on 14 August 2001. The Protocol aims at granting a sustainable use of water wildlife resources and their related ecosystems. In particular, the protocol regulates on shared resources and artisanal fishing, small scale fishing, as well as commercial fisheries.
