This Resolution aims at the protection of public health and of the environment. The present Resolution is composed of 9 articles and 1 Annex. Article 1 prohibits the use of asbestos in buildings and equipment maintenance as well as its transportation, disposal and treatment unless a previous licence from the Environmental Body has been obtained.
