According to the Law on Tobacco No. 22 of 1921 in force in the Gaza Strip and to Law No. 32 of 1952 in force in the West Bank Regions and Resolution No. 158 of 1995 on the establishment of the General Authority for Importation and Distribution of Tobacco, this Resolution establishes that the importation of tobacco and its derivates shall be carried out upon written approval by the aforementioned Authority.
