Resolution No. 47 of 1999 declaring the zone of Wadi Dijla in the province of Cairo a protected area.

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. The zone of Wadi Dijla located at east of Alma`adi Town in the Province of Cairo is to be considered a protected area (art. 1). Article 2 entrusts the Environmental Affairs Body to carry out all competencies provided for in Laws No. 102 of 1983 and Law No. 4 of 1994 related to protected areas. Activities which may destroy, change and prejudice plants, animals, aquatic life and wildlife are prohibited (art. 3). The Mayor of Cairo will assume the control
