The aim of this Resolution is to specify competencies and duties of the National Bank for Genes and Genetic Resources. The present Resolution is composed of 7 articles and 3 Annexes. Functions and duties of the Bank shall be the following: (a) retain a sample of the protected specie deposited in the Bank; (b) keep a register for samples of protected plant species; (c) issue a Deposit Certificate and a Recording Certificate within a week from the date of deposition of the sample.
