This Act is formulated to conserve natural resources, reduce waste, promote recycling and reuse of materials, mitigate environmental loading, and build a society in which resources are used in a sustainable manner. The Act consists of 31 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Source Management (II); Operational Management (III); Assistance and Incentive Measures (IV); Penalties (V); Supplementary Provisions (VI).
