Regulation 2 (1) specifies natural prawns and shrimps, and any part of them, as baits and lures for the purposes of the definitive of "rod and line" in section 24(1) of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act 1951. The Regulations apply in the River Ewe Salmon Fishery District. The effect of the Regulations is to prohibit the use of natural prawns and shrimps, or any part of them, as baits or lures when fishing by rod and line for salmon or sea trout. (2 regulations)
