The present Ordinance implements the Fishery Law of 31 August 1993. The text – consisting of 27 articles – deals with the following matters: fishing gear and fishing methods, prohibited fishing areas, closed seasons, minimum size, keeping of fish, protection of fish, fishing vessels, marking of fishing vessels, expansion and management of fish waters, statistics, recreational fishing events, exceptions, sphere of application and penalties.
