This Order empowers Scottish Natural Heritage to construct and maintain a slipway and other harbour facilities at Rum. The Order also confers further powers on Scottish Natural Heritage to maintain and operate their undertaking at the harbour as a statutory harbour undertaking and defines the limits of jurisdiction of Scottish Natural Heritage. Works include tidal works, dredging, navigation safety works, etc.
