This Order creates offences in relation with the installation of satellite-tracking devices, the information to be transmitted by the satellite-tracking device, the responsibilities relating to a satellite-tracking device and the technical failure or non-functioning of a satellite-tracking device. They apply in part to British and European Community fishing boats within Wales and in part to third country fishing boats within Wales.
